The Place Vendôme landmark continues its artistic programme with a solo exhibition dedicated to the acclaimed British photographer Miles Aldridge, alongside his 15 Minutes of Fame Polaroid project.

‘My work responds to a simple question: what is truth and what is illusion? The film director Ingmar Bergman proposed that silence was the only truth. But go further and one discovers that silence itself is another form of mask.’ explains Miles Aldridge.

On the occasion of the contemporary art fair Art Basel Paris 2026, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme reaffirms its commitment to contemporary art by welcoming one of the most influential photographers of his generation, Miles Aldridge. 

For more than a decade, the hotel has cultivated an ambitious artistic programme that places art at the heart of the guest experience. True to the Park Hyatt ethos, where architecture, design, and artistic expression exist in natural dialogue, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme has, over the years, welcomed major figures from the international art scene, including Helmut Newton, Ellen von Unwerth, Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne, Gregor Hildebrandt, Jean-François Fourtou, Prince Gyasi, and Diane Benoit du Rey. Through this ongoing commitment, the hotel has established a distinctive and discerning curatorial vision at the intersection of contemporary art and the art of hospitality. 

Curated by Constance Breton, the solo exhibition Entrances and Exits / Entrées et Sorties brings together a selection of Miles Aldridge’s most emblematic works, many of which will be presented in France for the first time. Unfolding throughout the hotel’s public spaces—including the lobby, Café Jeanne, and corridors—the exhibition offers an immersive encounter with the artist’s singular visual language: meticulously staged compositions, an electrifying palette of vivid, acidic hues, and an aesthetic that is at once sensual, theatrical, and enigmatic, drawing extensively on the visual vocabulary of Hollywood cinema. 

Against the understated and timeless backdrop designed by Ed Tuttle, Miles Aldridge’s hyper-stylised photographs enter into a striking dialogue with the architecture of Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme. The hotel is transformed into a living gallery, where the works reveal themselves organically throughout the spaces, inviting the eye to wander and the experience to unfold at its own pace. 

Alongside the exhibition, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme will present the 15 Minutes of Fame Polaroid Project, a photographic experience conceived by Miles Aldridge. 

From 20 to 22 October 2026, the Imperial Suite will be transformed into a cinematic Hollywood-style studio. Under the artist’s direction, a select group of guests will be invited to step into his distinctive visual universe, surrounded by cinematic lighting, vintage props, and meticulously orchestrated sets. 

Over the course of an approximately fifteen-minute session, each participant will be photographed by Miles Aldridge, becoming the protagonist of a unique image before leaving with their own Polaroid portrait—a personal memento of an experience conceived as an intimate encounter with the artist’s creative world.
